New to egg hatching question

Hi, I have a female that is about to lay eggs soon. I've got her laying box set up but have a question about vermiculite and perlite. My local pet stores do not carry any egg hatching medium and I think ordering something online would be too late. Is the vermiculite and perlite that I've been reading about on here the same as what you would find in the lawn and garden section at Lowe's or Walmart? If not is there anything else I can use.

Btw, the reason I've waited so long was because I didn't know she was pregnant. Was informed by a friend. Thanks

Yes, it's the same, but don't buy any with "miracle grow" in it. Just the plain kind

you could also buy Aquatic Plant Soil (APS) it is a nice incubation substrate, not as much hassle as vermiculite and perilite, you just need to soak it for 15 mins, strain the excess and place your eggs in the medium.
