Size of tubs for adult racks?

Hey

I am planning to build a rack system for my ever increasing number of leo morphs. I am planning to use containers about 6qt (12" by 7" footprint) containers for the babies.

Since I think that would be too small for an adult (most of mine are around 60g), what would be a good size for one?

15-16 quarts is the standard size for single adults.

The smallest you could go is 12 qts, but I would never go smaller than that... 15/16 qts work great too.

+1, 15qts work good but you could house 3 adults in a 28qt.

All my adults are housed in 15qt tubs, I keep all my geckos from babies, juvies to adults all in their own tubs.

I keep my adults singly in 28 qt tubs. It may be overkill but I like them being able to move around a bit. That and it lets me put 6 qt shoe boxes in for humid hides. =D

I use the 12.2 qt Irus tubs. I don't have the space for anything larger (unless I put them in groups and that's not happening). 15-16 qts seem to be optimum. As soon as I get some space I will switch my adults to something larger. The 12.2 work fine though if space is not an issue splurge for the larger if you can IMO.

I keep my heavyweight breeders individually in sweater boxes. Most would call it unnecessary, but I like it.

I keep my adults in 18.5 qt Iris tubs.
