Hello,

I wanted you to show Germany's first Stripe Zulu het. Caramel.

We hatched our first Zulu, this was another goal we had for this Season!!!
With this little baby we proofed our male Caramel Albino and one of the het. Caramel females to be het. for Zulu!

Nice animal but I have to agree that I prefer the non-striped zulus to those with stripes. Just a personal preference.

After staring at this little one again and again for the last couple of days, I'm having a hard time seeing it being a Zulu. I originally thought this, but wasn't sure. Anyone else think it's a Zulu for sure? I've never seen a baby Zulu have that pattern. Hrmmmm......maybe my eyes are bad. I want to see some updated pics in a month or so.

The stripe tends to drastically break up the pattern of the zulu that most of us are familiar with. Hence why it may look as it does.

you can tell its a Zulu, look at the head...see how blushed out it is? Thats how you know :main_thumbsup:

The interesting thing is, this further proves that the Stripe trait is actually a genetic trait that does affect the animal. As you can see it has affected the Stinger and Zulu trait, what other traits will it effect when it is combined with it? New morphs are surely going to be popping up soon. How will Stripe benefit or damage other morphs?
