It's my not-so-secret dream to have Snow Afghans some day. I took the first step last year when I picked up my afghanicus male, Hawkeye. This year, I've acquired a couple females for the group. Both are from Geckos Etc. Herpetoculture, run by Steve and Debra Sykes. They have the best-looking Gem Snow line I've seen.
Some pics from the unboxing...
Introducing Rebel, E. m. afghanicus female.
I will be seriously impressed if anyone can tell me why I named her Rebel.
And also introducing Fantasia, Bold Stripe Gem Snow female.
She seriously did not move at all in the bin, so I ended up with five shots that are almost identical. lol Of course, when I went to pick her up to move her to her quarantine tank, all hell broke loose! Someone needs a bit of taming...
These girls are both into quarantine for the next three months, so you won't see too much of them in the meantime.
