    Filtered Water or Tap Water

    I use tap water but treat it w/ repti-safe which dechlorinates and adds electrolytes. It is really cheap and lasts FOREVER.

    Completely confused

    I use the Repashy calcium plus to dust feeders, and also keep a little in a dish. Is this not good to keep it in a dish for her? She seems to be doing fine so far.

    I never turn my UTH off, so surface stays pretty steady, but at night ambient temp goes down from 80 to about 70-74

    Best calcium/vitamin series

    I'm somewhat of a newb when it comes to geckos, but I have been using the T-Rex Repashy Superfoods Leopard Gecko Calcium Plus. It's all-in-one and my girl really seems to like it. It does coat the feeders very well.

    Does calci-sand harm a gecko?

    If leos can't ingest sand, why are they dessert creatures? And in the wild they purposely eat a LITTLE sand to help digest the exoskeletons.

    I'm a little cornfused about humid hides. I just got a leo a week ago. First gecko for me. For a week I had a little humid hide on the warm side w/paper towels. He loved it, but it dried up every 12-18 hours. Then I read that the humid hide should be on the cool side. I made one on cool side...
