I'm pretty certain she doesn't have that, because she isn't showing any other signs, but what happened when they got crypto? I know a little bit about it, like the symptoms, but not exactly what it is
I was thinking the same thing... I think I was worrying too much. She has tons of energy at night (she'll will keep hunting my finger and what not) so I doubt shes sick, and her poo is very healthy. Shes not terribly skinny, she looks pretty normal for a young gecko. If you look back at my posts...
Could you tell me how I could feed her more? I'm getting worried about her... I don't want to have to put food on her nose for the rest of winter, she really doesn't like that.
I think I have somewhat of a theory why she wont eat (right now its partly because the house is colder), I think its because the only times I feed her is during day, or only 30 minutes at most after I turn the lights off, so shes probably tired and its not her instinct to eat during day. Could...
Howdy! It is Dusty's Birthday month, and I made her a cake! It's just komodo jelly pots (don't worry, she didn't even take a bite of these, she just wanted banana, even banana I limited though) and banana slices.
Also, I have noticed that almost every single thing I post on this website is about...
Exactly, our house temperature is a bit colder than usual and I think that's why shes eating less. Poo is very healthy though (she pooed right on the front pane of glass so... that was annoying but also helpful).
She ate fine last night, I kinda had a suspicion I was overreacting but better safe than sorry. I'll keep her moderated, but all other behaviors are normal.
It doesn't look like crypto, shes not showing any of the other symptoms. She has no loss of energy, shes very energetic at night as usual. I'll feed her today and give updates.
She's been known to refuse food until I give her treat food, which I don't want to do. Also, if this helps, the base of her tail is the same thickness of her neck.
I've had her close to two years, and from a reptile expo. From what I remember, it was a pretty legit company. She was only $20 because of her bent tail (which has never been an issue at all). Like I said, no other behavioral changes, and if I put the food on her nose she will eat it (she...
My crested gecko, Dusty, has always been a bit of a pain to feed. Always had to be hand fed, and when she didn't want food there's nothing I could do about it. But she is different now, she is thin (not dangerously, but thinner than I would want) and SHOULD be hungry (when she was fed a day or...
OK, thanks! That's the trick I do when she won't eat, i'll put it on her lips so that she has to eat it, and that works but I would prefer her eating normal lol.
My crested gecko is EXTREMELY picky, and will only eat treat food or watermelon flavor. Unfortunately all watermelon flavor is out in all the stores near me, so I am trying to feed her blueberry but she will only touch a little bit and not anymore. I've always had trouble feeding her, she will...
