Today while handling my male crested gecko I noticed a strange white substance right above his bulge thing. The substance strongly resembled seamen and he when I set him back in his cage he started licking / eating it. I'm really curious as to what that was so if anyone has any information that...
I've only had them for about a week..temp is 79, humidity is all good, probably could use a few more hiding places, got some fake plants, a vine, some sticks, and log with fake plants attached to it
they could probably use some more but theres a fair amount of cover right now, the female is constantly hiding in a plastic plant, i've got an infared light so i can see them at night time and normally just stays there all day and night
my two adult cresteds hardly ever move, day or night. Often they will be at the same exact spot in the morning as they were the prior evening. I'm concerned so if anyone has any ideas as to what would be going on please let me know....
I was wondering whats the best way to create a home made laybox? and also if i'm feeding my cresteds baby food what would be a good amount to put in each night and what flavors do they seem to like?
yeah I've started accumulating juveniles, I've already been raising two and I plan on getting a few more from the upcoming swap, possibly 2 adults as well. As far as research goes I will continue to read as much as I can. Thanks
