1 Copy or 2 Copy

Been considering buy a W & Y, I've seen them listed as one copy and two copyt. Would one copy mean one parent is W Y and two copy mean both parents?

I belive W&Y is a dominant gene. So W&Y x normal 50% normal And 50% W&Y 1 copy. W&Y x W&Y 25% normal and 50% W&Y 1 copy and 25% W&Y 2 copy

just to supplement... unless W&Y parents were both 2 copy then 100% of the offspring would be 2 copy W&Y (I dont believe this is very common but thought I would at least throw that out there)
