1 egg 48 hours later....

So female laid 1 egg (in her poop area) she has another inside (checked her). She will not birth it. She is very lazy (showing signs she is still very prego) yet not laying. Anything to help her out?? She has a lay box, calcium, wet hide dry hide proper temps she just wont release it.

try soaking her in luke warm water for 15-20 min.

My female did something similar. It was really weird. Is she a first time breeder?
Izzie is a first timer and she laid last friday but i was pretty sure she still had an egg in her. I tried soaking her in water but nothing happened. A week later (this friday) she laid a huge infertile egg, but she laid it finally. I have no idea why it was a week later or why it was so big.
Egg binding isn't a good thing but Iz was still eating and being active so I wasn't too worried. I'd suggest soaking her first. If that doesn't work and as long as she's still eating, give her some time. Also, make sure she has water in her water dish. Iz used that to soak herself for a couple days and then she laid. I wouldn't go longer than a week though - after a week, i think you should take her to a vet. And thats if shes eating. If shes not eating, take her sooner.
