I have had my guy for exactly a week today and through the whole week his feeding has been quite odd. The first night, he ate 1 worm. he didnt eat for like 3 days, then he ate like 5. And now he hasnt eaten since like saturday.
Is it cause i have been moving around his cage?

Btw, I keep a dish of mealies in 24/7. Is this bad?

it drives me crazy! I am afraid to handle him cause i dont wanna mess him up even more.

I wish he was more like my ball python. he has never refused a meal.

I would find the best arrangement for the furniture in his cage and leave it. I know sometimes my one leopard gecko doesn't eat for about two days after I change her cage. And have mealworms in an ESCAPE PROOF dish 24/7 is good. I have it in with all of my leopard geckos. You could also try some other feeders such as crickets. Hope I helped:)

Well I'm not very experienced but this is what I do mine always eats. I don't keep a dish of mealies in all the time unless I'm leaving for a couple of days. When I feed him (every other day) I feed one mealie at a time by holding where he sees it in my hand (or in the tweezers) and then putting it on the cage floor for him to catch. If I ever need to change or remove something in his cage I do it right before feeding or if its a non feeding day I give him one mealie right after moving anything. So if I ever have to move something in his cage he comes out looking for food.

I keep a dish, but I only use it to put the mealworms in to hold them while i feed him. I take them out of the dish one at a time and let him see it in my hand then I'll drop it on the cage floor and let him go after it. I also use the dish if I'm gonna be gone for a couple of days. I'll leave a few in it for him but alot of times he wont eat many (if any) out of the dish.
