k guys i was wondering lets say if you have 3 females in a 30 gallon long and you introduce a male with the three will he just mate with one or possibly all three?

I would say all three... especially the longer you leave him in with them.

That's my setup right now, and he's already mated with one of them and he's been trying to mate with the other two, but they won't let him right now.

They may not be receptive, but probably will be soon. My females seem to pick up the hormones of each other and when one starts ovulating they all do. They are all housed individually too so I'd assume that females kept together will pick up on it quicker. Good luck!
