14 year old leo ovulating

my 14 year old leo are going nuts she is ovulating, and has one fully developed egg in her. i havent bred her since 1998.and she havent lay eggs since then.maybe she smells my other females ovulating?she is very healthy and eat alot of food.( she is my first leo and i bought her in 1992,her parents came from a very smal coloni there all was wery small.she is only 15.centimeters and weight 30.gram.all of her offspring when i bred her 1994-1998 has not been bigger than her.) i dont know what to do with her,maybe the best is just let her lay the egg.

she have never weight more than that .her parents came from a very smal colony and they was not bigger .not even her offspring have been bigger.and she has not been breed now

I have a "senior" gecko that was laying eggs even though she had never been with a male. She continues to ovulate every year, but usually just re-absorbs the egg(s). I would venture to guess that your female will be alright, but if you notice anything unusual, a vet visit may be in order.

You've got to remember that Leos were not as big as they are now, 15 years ago.

That just sounds crazy to me. I havent bred any, so I guess I really have no right to say it lol but still. She looks pretty good in the picture, maybe the numbers are just throwing me off a little.

I have had females that never top 40-45 grams, and still throw 8-10 clutches a piece, and then I have had females that weigh 80+ grams and throw me 2-3 clutches.
