I am a 15 year old that has the reptile fever! I absolutely love reptiles, they are my life! I have a pair of adult African fat tail leopard geckos, 1 female tangerine leopard gecko, 2 mac snow leopard geckos, 1 blizzard leopard and 1 regular leopard gecko! I just got 4 Peter's banded skinks and i'm loving them! I also have snakes, I have a 4 ft hypo Colombian boa, a baby carpet python, a pair of baby pastel ball pythons, and a pair horned snakes. I'm trying to breed turtles too i have a pair of regular musk turtles and watched them mate tonight and i'm pretty excited to get my eggs. I'm also trying to breed fire belly newts. i haven't gotten too far on that though.I am mainly trying to breed my leopard geckos though. If anyone has any advice on them i would really appreciate it! oh and my father also owns pet-land in Bradenton btw and he is their fish and reptile specialist. But if anyone has any advice or information i would really really appreciate it!!

Thanksssss Matthewwwwww:D

Welcome to the forum! I was your age when I joined! (about to be seventeen now though) My advice for breeding leopard geckos is to make sure you have good genetics, healthy up to weight geckos, finances in case of emergencies, patience, and research research research!! :D If you have any specific questions, do feel free to ask though!

A good weight is usually 55 grams, but it also depends on the body size. if a six inch gecko is 55 it would probab;y be pretty fat, but if an 11 inch gecko is 55 grams it is way to thin. Just make sure that the tail is at least as thick as its neck, but thicker is better.

Welcome to the forum. Take a look at the leopard gecko section. You will find tons of info on genetics, breeding, care, etc. Ask your questions there and you should get a lot of help.
