It's actually my daughter's, but this is our first snake. He's a male that we got from Tim Koppenhofer of Special K Reptiles.

I'm really happy with him. The breeder said he was only eating live and that it would be pretty hard to switch him to frozen thawed. We decided to try one last night and he ate it with no problems!!! I'm so happy that I won't have to feed live now.

Thanks!!! I was really expecting all kinds of issues with feeding him the f/t off the tongs, but he didn't take long to grab it at all. I used a heat lamp to heat the body and then the head of the mouse.

You're daughter looks like it was love at first sight! I love seening girls getting into holding snakes. I'm constantly showing my 7 month old snakes and she just lights up when she sees them. She even tries to grap them, but I have to watch she doesn't try to squeeze.

Thanks! I'm really happy that she loves reptiles already. I wish my parents would have had them. Maybe I wouldn't have been so terrified of snakes all these years.

Maybe she'll come around. I honestly never liked snakes and was terrified of them. I really like my daughter's snake and really want one of my own now.
