Both photos are open for suggestions. I do not really care for the lightning photo, but I have been trying (with a cable release for over a year now) to photograph lightning, and all I did here was trip my shutter when I saw the bolt (and luckily was quick enough to capture it).

I love them both! I'll agree the lightning picture isn't as appealing as a lot of your other work, but that doesn't make it a bad picture! I love the sky in it! And that crab picture is great...good stuff :main_thumbsup:.

yea, the lightning photo isn't as good as i had hoped for, but i was happy to just get a bolt.

...and i am rather happy how the crab turned out!

Chasing lightening isn't easy. Do you take multiple pics in a row?

Your crab pictures are great. This one is framed nicely in the corner like he's starting out on a journey...plenty of road ahead.

Maybe if you run that lighting pic through a noise filter it will turn out a tad better?

that crab would make a great logo or banner i like the lighting its got a kinda lonley feel to it
