The two-tailed wonder!
Here's the tale of two tails:main_evilgrin:: Upon opening the deli-cup, containing newly hatched babies, this girl had just 1/3 of her tail attached. The other two babies that hatched with her, must have frightened her into dropping her tail. Only instead of a clean break-away, the tail tenuously clung to her.
She was isolated, and grown in a clean, sterile environment. My hope being the wound would heal, leaving a blip behind, as I've seen before with other leos, who had less serious attempted tail drops.
That was not the case, as a new tail began to slowly emerge from the deep gash. 6 weeks later, this Snow Enigma is full on mermaid!
She is totally normal compared to her single-tailed counterparts, and just like a plant split at the node, a new shoot shot forth!
Just one more reason to love these regenerating rascals.
