Not sure if anyone else keeps track of thier receipts. I've keep all receipts from this year. All my mealworms where purchase from Sunshine Mealworms this year, I did purchase soem crix and wax worms from local reptile shop and reptile show. If I where to guess that was maybe 3,000 crix and another 500 wax worms, not much at all.

Hm... I think i would have a mealworm raising project if i was in your shoes... Although with the numbers of mealies your going thru It would be a full blown opperation lol.

You should keep track of what the mealworms eat as well. I wonder how much you spend on gut loading 10,000 worms a month. Do you put any in the fridge, or let them eat all day at room temp?

Thanks

I have roughly 2 dozen breeders and holdback and produced alittle over 55 hatchling this season. The mealworms are only fed the first 24 hours I receive them and then go in the fridge. I don't really think mealworms breeding would be worth the effect, I've tried breeding roaches and I found it to be too much work and rather just purchase the food.

Yeah, it's a pain in the butt breeding mealworms sometimes. I'm giving it up for next year...
