I left for a month to collect data for my dissertation research, so I had to leave my geckos and eggs with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised to return to see these beautiful albinos hatching! I only have Trempers this year, but I'm hoping to either trade a couple of these or get enough money selling these sweeties to expand my collection and get a really nice male enigma for my gorgeous female eclipse (see below)!
But enough of dreaming, here are the highlights!
Here is my favorite baby of this year with her sibling. I have NEVER hatched out a gecko with this much red/orange highlighting this young. She's only a week old! I can't wait to see how she grows up! I have a feeling this one will be a holdback!
Here's another oddball. This is easily the palest baby I've hatched this year, and look at that adorable heart to boot! I hope it stays until adulthood, but you know how those things go.
This is the oldest baby. She hatched out about a month ago and she's already a chunky little thing! I love the lavendar... it's actually turning green along the edges in places.
And now for before and after. This is my favorite gecko in my collection. She's a low expression eclipse that I purchased from Paul Allen (Bright Albino) last year at the Atlanta Repticon. She's grown up amazingly beautiful. The first image was taken on the day I purchased her, and the last image I took this morning.
