Hi! I have a problem with my Sunglow Nova female(2012 sub-ad.), she is only 28g now and she started to ovulate a few days ago but I was hoping she stop it and she don't. At now she is going to making eggs. She never been with a male so the eggs will be infertile and as I know it will be more dangerous for her. What sould I do with her? I think I missed to pair her now. After when she clutch these infertile eggs should I pair her with a male? Just becouse the second clutch will be fertile at least and it will be better as I know. Thanks for the help in advance!

I would doubt what you're seeing is ovulation but if she is ovulating she will more than likely reabsorb the ovulates and not produce eggs. Females ovulate regardless of whether a male is present or not but often do not create and lay eggs unless the ovulates are fertilized. If you pair a 28g gecko that is ovulating she will more than likely be severely hurt or die trying to mate and lay eggs - so in a nut shell DO NOT put her with a male until she is at least 50g, preferably 60.

Thank you very much I hope she won't lay eggs, and I'm only asked this question becouse I want the best for her, so I don't pair her with a male. :)

It's unlikely that eggs are forming, unless she mated. In the rare case that eggs do develop, there's a good chance that they'll be absorbed. It would be inhumane to breed her at this weight.
