If my male was bred to my female before her first clutch and NOT between the first and second, will the second still be fertile? They were laid only a couple of weeks apart and she was bred just a couple of weeks or less before the first clutch. The first clutch has been candled and definetly seems fertile.

The second clutch should be fertile. Some females can lay fertile eggs for an entire season with just one breeding, whiles other will need multiple breedings. This will also depend on the male, some are more fertile then others.

females can save the males sperm through all breeding season, some people rebreed there females every 3rd clutch though
