Tuesdays are my incubator checking nights, at least until I get closer to my first clutch's due date (beginning-to-mid April).
Anyways, my second clutch was laid a week ago yesterday. One egg candleed fertile and the other was yellow. I was slightly disappointed. But I figured 3 fertile egss out of my first time breeder's first 2 clutches wasn't half bad. I put both of the eggs in the incubator because I'd always heard to incubate them whether or not you thought they were fertile. Well I'm sure glad I did. I check them last night and both eggs in the 2nd clutch are fertile! Yay! And my first clutch is getting pretty big.
And since Shana has laid her first two clutches like clockwork. I'm fairly sure that I can be expecting the next two eggs on Tuesday 4/1. I'm so excited!
