Greetings........I am asking for my 10-year old daughter who got a 1.5 year old Leopard Gecko 3 weeks ago. In that time we have tried to leave him be so as to get used to us. He seems to be healthy (fat tail) but he doesn't like to eat. We've fed him exactly 1 horn worm in the 3 weeks since we have had him. Previous owner said he was a picky eater (mainly superworms) but he hasn't eaten a one of those things yet. Should we just wait it out? He has defecated and he likes to be held and crawl up our arm. Any advice/encouragement would be great!!

Get some super worms & feed them along side of other bugs you want to feed him.
If it has been cold where you live it might be seasonal some Leopard geckos slow down in winter
What are you temps warm side and cool side?
If your temps are too low or to high reptile can't thermoregulate. Unlike us mammals reptile have to use habitat to regulate body temp & digest food
