You can feed more than that. I over feed mine waxies. I feed like 5 or so to each gecko once every 2 weeks.

A few a month shoudl be fine, I fed them every 3 months last year and only once this year but thats just me.
A lot of people do feed them a few every couple of weeks with no problems. They are just a treat and as long as they don't start refusing other food items, its not that bad.
