3rd eye of enigmas???

I know this may be completely irrelevant, but I've been completely obsessed with the Enigma. I'm curious about the "3rd eye" in lizards--the light receptive cells/organ? on top of their head--could the head pigmentation (or lack of) with enigmas be causing the light sensitivity and/or circling? Just thought I'd see if others had thought of this possibility...

iguanas and many other lizards. Does anyone know if leopards even have a parietal 3rd eye? or any light receptive cells, other than those in the actual eye?
