4 weeks, no eggs

So my leopard gecko mated on May 20th; I saw it happen. I've watched the eggs grow in her, but it's been 4 weeks and she still hasn't layed them. I'm growing concerned about egg binding. I have 2 laying hides for her; one with moss and one with vermiculite and she's been spending most of the last 2 weeks in the moss hide. Just last weekend I heard her digging and she pushed all the moss out of the hide, but still didn't lay. She has been off(ish) food for about 2 weeks, but her tail still has some fat. Actually, she ate 2 superworms last week, but the following morning I found them regurgitated in the tank. I thought maybe she was under too much stress, so I took out the other female I was housing her with and have only been holding her to examine her stomach like every other day. She has been pooping some, but today she had a very strange poop. I've attached photos. She did shed over the weekend and I'm pretty sure she ate the skin, so I'm wondering if that's why it looks so strange... Anyway, I'm just wondering at what point I should get concerned enough to take her to the vet (have not yet been able to find a rep vet in the area) 970219_2030007270824_871365171_n.jpg 999883_2030007070819_991230820_n.jpg

*Facts about the tank/female gecko*
Housed on paper towel
Calcium without D3 in a bottle cap
Dish for water
Was dusting every feeding before she stopped eating
Fed mainly crickets but also superworms and hornworms occasionally
Temps are sort of hot in her tank because my apartment doesn't have A/C: hot side 95F cool side 80-85 F depending on time of day
She was 53 grams the day she mated; haven't weighed her since
2 years old

These pics are from 6/12, I can try to get stomach ones later today.

She does look quite big. Taking 5 weeks to lay isn't unheard of but regurgitating and that strange poop are not normal and would make me really nervous. If you're a worrier like I am, I would get her to the vet now. If you can wait a few days, I would set up a vet appointment now for early next week and if she doesn't lay by then I would take her in. If you're close enough to drive to Toledo I have an awesome vet that worked for the zoo for years and does nothing but exotics. If you're further away, the ARAV association keeps a list for each state. Here's a link to the MI page:

Arav ? Find a Vet

Keep us updated on how she does!!

I'm a bit of a drive from Toledo, but I did find a vet on that list who's only 20 minutes away, so thank you! I'm definitely a huge worrier; if she doesn't lay in the next week I'm going to take her in.
Do you think giving her a bath would help? I know it's good for hydrating them, but I'm concerned that it will stress her out more...

I honestly don't know about giving her a bath. I would have the same reservations about doing so that you stated but a bit of warmth and hydration may help but being left alone might as well. I hope someone with more experience with egg laying issues than I have can chime in and give their opinion on whether it would be a good idea or not.

She appeared to either be straining to poop or straining to lay last night so I have an appointment to take her to the vet later today. Hoping everything is okay :\

Fecal came back positive for pinworms and the vet prescribed panacur. He also thinks she doesn't have enough calcium for the eggs so he gave her a vitamin shot and then gave me neocalgluconate and Carnivore Care to feed her with twice daily. If she doesn't lay in 2 weeks we'll have to go back and probably have surgery :main_no: My poor little girl.
