55 gallon dart frog paradise

This is a 55 gallon setup with a false backround with a cool air fogging system and 10 waterfalls and 2 rivers. This took me 2 weeks I have about 100 HOURS in it. The the substrate consist of leca (hydroton) then mesh then cocobark then tropical moss. I hand made the cage extras the huts and the bridges.It also has 10 live plants with the (Glo) system lighting .It took 8 tubes of silcone and 3 cans of great stuff . I have 2 azureus on one side and 2 lukes on the other.Please tell me what you think thx

If you don't mind my asking, how did you do the fogging system? Is it working out well? Misting isn't working out so well on my mini tanks...

Its ok to touch them they dont produce the posion in captivity, I still use rubber gloves.

answer your fogger question

The cool air humidfier is the key it has to have a round out let or it wont work I got mine at walgreens for about 40$ bucks the tube running out is from ace hardwear the pvc is 3/4 inch and the elbows will depend where you put the cool air humidfier .Now the holes in the tube are inporant as well the bigger holes work best I spaced them about 4 inches apart then I siliconed it and put eco earth.The flow was to high (pressure) so I connected another another pipe and ran it to my 80 gallon crested tank now it is perfect .Now I was told that you cant run them very long in a fully enclosed tank it can drown them so I also got a digital power strip/ timer from zilla and now it gose off 2 times a day for 4 min. once in the morning and once at night .I also only use bottled water with my darts. I just touched one I would be dead. Trust me I would not have them if that was true.But I could be wrong or very lucky.

I've seen a few walkthroughs on these...

I may just take the plunge here soon. It's been tough to find a good balance with misting and humidity on my grow out tanks. Worst case, it'll be a fun project ;o)
