My 7mo female has never been around a male in her life. I have had her since she was 2mo. She has started digging in the corners of her cage many times a day. Her substrate is non-adhesive shelf liner and paper towels. Could she be trying to lay infertile eggs at this age? Should I make a lay box for her? Thanks!

It's possible for females who have never mated to lay infertile eggs. I have one female who laid 2 clutched last year.

Any progress on this female? Did you check if she is ovulating?
