A BIG Thank You to everyone

I just want to Thank everyone one who helped be during my moms illness and passing. You all were very helpful in my time of need and now I am trying to get back into my Geckos to keep my mind on positive things. Thanks again you all have been wonderful. Deb

You don't have to thank us! This is what being part of a community is, friendship. You are such a nice person, we are all so glad that you are here.

I didn't have any hobbies/pets when my father passed away, and, I didn't have many friends to talk to either. I honestly wish I did, it would have made it easier I think. But, I do know what you mean, you are all here to help me through Abbie's surgery, I don't know what I would do without everyone's support!

I'm glad that you could turn to us for a little help. That's the greatest thing about the people here. When someone needs to talk there is someone to listen who doesn't have anything to gain from the situation. If you ever need anything we'll be here for you.

Hello Jeannie, Felicia and Scott,
I realized that if it hadn't been for you all I may not have made it through this as I was already very depressed from other things that happened in my life recently. And I owe it all to you all for lending your ear, giving me words to keep going, and helping me to help my daughter when I wasn't sure I could. Even though we still have a long road to recovery I feel so much better knowing there are people out there that care. I really do not have many close friends at home, I keep too busy with my animals and a lot of people do not understand me having all these animals. Even my daughters friends who come over, they love the animals and learn so much here but then they go home and tell their family about my animals and they tell them that I must have a mental problem to have all these animals That hurts my daughter when her friends say stuff like that what they hear from their parents. Anyways, I still Thank you all for being there for me and I will always be there for every one of you if you need something. This is the best site on the net, I hardly ever see problem posts and if so they end in peace in the long run. That shows what a good bunch of people you all are here. Hugs to you all, Deb

Thank you Deb for your kind words. It's always nice to have a family of people you get to chose as your family and I believe we all get that here. We may not all get to chat as often as we'd like, or see each other ever, but it's a family I charish.

I understand what you mean about people not understanding our love for all these animals. Animal lovers are a breed of their own, which I wish we had more of. Maybe if we did this world would be a better place.
