well, I have a bit of an odd issue.

My gecko walked through her own poo it seems, and now smells like it. I've cleaned everything in the tank, but I can still smell it on her.

I'm not sure if she has poo stuck on her feet or what.
I've taken her out of her tank and sniffed her, and I now know it's her and nothing in her tank.

Advice? should I just let it fade off? or should I do a feet soak or something and try to clean it off?

My main concern would be her shedding and then eating it off her skin >_<

you can take her out and put her in a container with wet paper towel for a few minutes, but the smell will fade in a day or so. if the little stink of a leo gets to you, NEVER get a bearded dragon ;)

hahaha, I don't intend to XD
I like my leos, and I think I'm good!

I guess I'm mostly just bothered because it's poo that's possibly on her >_< and I don't know how healthy that could be living in a closed environment.

oh no, its normal, especially with your very first gecko. as long as she's healthy, its not going to cause her any issues just by walking through it. you can even try to use a moistened qtip if she's calm enough to clean off her feet.

I've had her for about 6 months now and she's extremely well behaved ^__^ like... beyond what I've been told she would be. She's not shy at all.

I think I'm going to try what you suggested with the papertowel tomorrow if she doesn't smell clean. It'd probably make her happier than me poking at her with a QTip, lol.

haha, probably. you could always give her a quick soak as well if it doesn't come off easily, but i bet you wont even notice it in the morning ;)
