I need a little help. I have a wooden viv that is 2 in 1. its 2ft by 2ft by 1ft. its divided in half horzontally and its all 3/4 melamine shelving. Looks very similar to this View attachment 44185 . my question is i want the cord of the heat pad as close to the bottom and wall of the viv as possible. the less cord in the viv the better. How do i get the cord through the wall without making a big hole so that crickets mealworms or locusts dont escape and i want to try and refrain from cutting the plug off and and rewiring if at all possible. Thanks

I would drill a hole, feed the cord through, and then duck tape the cord shut again:)

You can also if you prefer not to use duct tape go down to the hardware store and by a rubber grommet that fits the cord snuggly inside and has enough rubber around it to fil the hole you drilled. All you have to do it cut the grommet to slip the cord into it. :main_evilgrin: Hope that helps.
