I'm not going to do this every single day lol, or often, I was just excited about some things and instead of posting a bunch of different threads I figured this was easier.
First of all, I'm thinking my baby Pidge is a male I used the Wegner method and I found some thin red "lines" pointing diagonally from the vent, which I concluded were hemipenes. I will try and see if I can get a picture, but I still need one hand to hold him and the other to shine the LED flashlight, so I'll have to get some help
Pidge also had his first meal today on some small crickets (that's how the pet store sizes them, small, medium, large... I will eventually be relying on mealworms though when I get some babies). He ate about 4 or 5 crickets, I forget... haha
No poop yet, but he probably hadn't eaten when I got him because he was shipped there that same day, so I'm going to wait and see before I conclude anything.
My mealworm colony is getting to the last of it's start-up stages... I've got a beetle!!
Ok, well it's almost a beetle... but I'm so excited!
The on in the middle is the soon-to-be(etle), the left is one I think about half way there, and the right is one that literally just molted. :main_thumbsup:
