A Little update

I'm not going to do this every single day lol, or often, I was just excited about some things and instead of posting a bunch of different threads I figured this was easier.

First of all, I'm thinking my baby Pidge is a male :) I used the Wegner method and I found some thin red "lines" pointing diagonally from the vent, which I concluded were hemipenes. I will try and see if I can get a picture, but I still need one hand to hold him and the other to shine the LED flashlight, so I'll have to get some help :)

Pidge also had his first meal today on some small crickets (that's how the pet store sizes them, small, medium, large... I will eventually be relying on mealworms though when I get some babies). He ate about 4 or 5 crickets, I forget... haha
No poop yet, but he probably hadn't eaten when I got him because he was shipped there that same day, so I'm going to wait and see before I conclude anything.

My mealworm colony is getting to the last of it's start-up stages... I've got a beetle!!

Ok, well it's almost a beetle... but I'm so excited!
The on in the middle is the soon-to-be(etle), the left is one I think about half way there, and the right is one that literally just molted. :main_thumbsup:
