A Normal That Doesn't Look...Normal. ;)

So I've always thought my girl looked like a normal, but her colourings are much brighter than any normal I've seen. Have I got the morph wrong?

This picture isn't the absolute best...but her head is green, neck and body are yellow/black and tail is orange at the base, distinct black and white after that.

I would say that'd definitely a high yellow A very bright one at that! She's so cute

Really? Thanks! So are high yellows select bred normals who show bright colours? Is that why she looks similar to a normal? Or are they a different morph entirely? I'm not very good with genetics and morphs yet Thanks for the help though!

This page on the Leopard Gecko Wiki can probably help you a bit. When leopard geckos were first imported they were selectively bred for their yellow coloration which resulted in the morph "High Yellow".

Awh! What a cutie I think the only difference is that Mia's head is green, other than that they're practically identical! Orange tail base and all!
