So, when I get my two newbies I will of course be quaranteening them. I am hoping to put them in a 40 breeder tank but with a divider of course. I am not planning on breeding them and the female will be much to young for it anyways.
Will there be any sort of hormone exchange that might stress them?
He will be about 9 months but she will only be 3.
Also, is there a brand of tank divider that is preferred? I bought some generic fish tank divider at the pet store but it is not remotely the right size.. unless I put it sideways and cut it, but then it will be short and I know from past experiances that creative and horny males will find a way (this was with mice however).
