a question on weight.

Super Raptor


this is the super raptor i bought last sunday. by the bday online and the container she came in it sounds like she is almost 9 months old. i weighed her when i got home and it matched the weight online at 25grams. doesn't that sound a little small???

I've bought a few leopard geckos online that were only 30 grams despite being close to 9 months old. I also have some that are 6 months old that are already 60 grams. It all depends on genetics and how much you feed them.

I've bought a half dozen geckos from Ohio Gecko. All the babies I've gotten have been super healthy and have eaten like champs the day I got them. I believe there's some debate in the field but IMO letting them grow a bit more slowly makes for an overall healthier gecko.

Looks a little slim but I wouldn't say overly skinny - especially not for a 25g gecko. Is she eating okay for you?
