a real LIVE "E.T." like experience...

I have a baby leo that I bought a few weeks ago, and she's been warming up to me from behind the glass, when she sees me now, she associates me with food, so she comes out of her hide and stares at me through the glass and waits for treats. She didnt seem scared anymore, so I reached in and picked her up, she didnt run, and she seemed OK with it.

Well...I had heard of baby geckos screaming...but never heard one myself, so I really had no idea what it would sound like.

So anyway... I took her out, and when I looked at her and started to talk to her, she opened up her mouth and SCREAMED, I got so scared, I think I screamed:main_laugh: lol, and I quickly put her back!

The scream sounds exactly like E.T.'s!

It was kind of funny, but it did scare me, lol

mine is just skitzy... doesn't make any noise, just looks at me like "what are you doing?! you want me to eat... WHAT?!"

That's too funny! I remember the first time Nihlus screamed at me (he was silent the whole two-hour car ride home, wouldn't stop screaming and hissing once he got into his nice warm new tank). I think I dropped what I was doing and ran over to check and make sure he wasn't dying. Now when I hear him scream I just laugh -- he seems to scare himself a lot.

I haven't had any screams yet...just a hiss. And DANG those hisses are loud! I thought Rose turned into a snake. For some reason she had a stick up her butt when I was giving her fresh water, then went to pick her up like I normally do and...she jumped up and hissed at me, scared me a bit. :blush: I even screamed a little, like those 'whoa' or 'gasp' screams you do. weirdos :main_rolleyes:

thats one pissed off leo lol but I love the vid did make me giggle whe she slid off the wood block at the end and kinda looked around to check no one saw
all of my hatchlings scream like it too, its just their way of saying "bugger off or ill bite you" SSSOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
