A shot from Alaska

Some friends of my mom's have taken a trip to Alaska and sent some photos back. They couldn't figure out why, at a local park, there were numerous kiddy pools roped off. They soon found out why!

OH MAN!!!! That would be so INCREDIBLE to see. My father-in-law has requested an Alaska trip--he's getting "up there" in age & ability. To be able to see this in person would floor me.

I saw an eagle the other day, I was crossing a bridge he was flying with the river. Always an uplifting sight

oh how neat!!! They sure are a sight to see! I saw one or two flying around when I lived in British Columbia... but to see one up close like that, what a treat!
