A strange question?????????????

I was in petco, and the gentleman working there told me that females drop eggs like chickens. Despite the absence of a male. Is that true, do female Leopard Geckos drop eggs without having bred? How come I have been reading all kinds of information on Leopard Geckos and I never knew that?
This info is totally not out there like it should be.

Females of almost all gecko species can drop unfertilized eggs from time to time, we generally refer to them as "slugs".

It does happen. But not with anywhere near the regularity of a chicken!
