A timetable needed!!!!

What do i give a leopard gecko supliment wise. This is what i think please correct me if im wrong.

Pure calcium with everyfeeding.
once a week no calcium, instead a multivitimin (with D3?).

I lightly dust their food with calcium every feeding and keep a little container with the calcium in their enclosure at all times so they can lap it up when ever they want.

I dust their food with a multi vitamin twice a month.

I also have a jar of calcium with D3 that I dust their food with once in a while, maybe once or twice a month.

Jeanne- Im curious and this sounds dumb, but do they really lap up the calcium on their own? I see it tracked all over the boxes by my babies, but they could just have walked though it. I always thought that if you provided them with a courser calcium, that they would eat it on their own because it emulates the small amount of sand they would eat in the wild that helps with minor digestion? But, I have never witnessed one of my geckos licking their calcium.

And yeah I know, they are captive so how would they know to do that, but I would guess that they still have some natural tendencies wired in there, that of course with time will change as captive breed leos are kept longer by humans.

I regularly see some of them lapping up calcium from their bowls. They also tip the bowls over, track it all over and poop in them.

I have seen most of mine lick it from the little container of calcium. And then, there are the ones that like to walk thru it, poop in it, etc. just like Nancy said...LOL

I supplement with Calcium w/out D3 every feeding, and Calcium w/D3 and multivitamins once a week. Yes, they will lap the calcium in the bowl!
