Looks to be! She was bred a while back and shes still tending them and rolling them around. *keeping our fingers crossed*

Oh my gosh! Congratulations on the egg sac! I have read that G. pulchras can be very difficult to breed successfully so that is really wonderful! I have two Brazilian Blacks myself, but they are only about the size of a quarter/half dollar. I have had them since '05-'06 when they were both slings. They grow so slow but it sure is worth it to have a jet-black beauty like the one you have. Congrats again! :)

Sorry, Nikki... I forgot to post an update.

Wish I had some good news. A couple days before we were to take out the eggs, mama pulchra started loosing her mind. She tucked the eggs into a corner and started destroying her enclosure. We went ahead and pulled the eggs, opened it up and found this:

Not a single live nymph in the bunch. :(
There was somewhere in the neighborhood of 75 eggs that were stuck together.
It was just very strange as she was guarding them as if they were good eggs.

Sorry for the bad news. I was really looking forward to sharing some pulchra slings with everyone. :(
