Abbie's 3rd Surgery :(

Abbie ended up at the Vet yesterday, she hasn't been doing good the past week, not eating, losing weight (She went from 42 pounds to 35 pounds, not good). So, Bobby brought her in to The Chelmsford Animal Hospital yesterday (Our normal Vet was away on vacation). The Vet took X-Rays to see if there was some obstruction in her stomach, but they couldn't see anything, except something was swollen, I honestly can't remember what right now. Well, the vet called me last night, they opened her up last night, that crazy girl swallowed a piece of a ball! So, she is going to be just fine, and while they had her opened the fixed her, so that is done now too.

So, now I have another bill, this one is at least $1600. When it rains it pours!

Vet bills add up so fast! We had a scare that my cat had eaten a string last week - $300 later she's fine. Probably just stomach upset from the antibiotics she's been on forever for this nasty eye infection that keeps coming back (dealing with that has been another couple hundred). At least we avoided the surgery, though.

All that matters is Abbie is going to be ok. She is my baby and I would give my left kidney if it meant saving her!
