Well it's 2 weeks today that my paternless is due to lay eggs, and tonight I'm in the bed and I heard a loud weezing type noise I look over (her tank is beside my bed) and she standing there looks like she is straining and trying to push, and she has her entire hide dug out all over the tank.

Sooo it's getting close I'm so excited about my first clutch, this is good and bad I know I won't get any sleep tonight, lol.

I know I have to get up at 7:00am to be at work by 9:00am and it's 11:35 now, but I think it will be worth it.

If I happen to fall asleep and don't catch the eggs right away, will they be okay until morning?

I'm starting to get a little worried now, I guess since this is my first time with this I'm being to paranoid I've done everything PERFECT! lol

She is sooo restless last night and tonight, she is all over the tank digging her hide out (keep having to put the stuff back into it) and she's acting crazy active I've read this is normal I hope it is. I can't wait to see some eggs!

Don't worry. Mine will do that whole routine for about a week or more sometimes before they actually lay the eggs.

Mandi I just had a female lay 22 days after her first clutch. Most of my females have been 10-14 days between clutches. They'll come in good time don't worry.

Nope nothing yet!!

I thought she was going to the first night I saw her so restless but nothing, ugh I hate the waiting and I'm hoping so bad I am home when she finally does lay, I would like to see it happen!

She is still restless as ever, not eating and digging at everything, she stands up against the glass tank and I can the eggs almost clear as day on both her sides, so I guess that's good they aren't showing signs of being bound that really worried me also.

I forgot something I have heard her making weezing type noises, is that normal? She makes the noises and it looks like she is trying to push something out?

hmm I don't know what that is then, but I can see eggs that formed now BAM right in my face but I can tell they are there maybe it will be awhile long before she lays, I really thought last night she was going to she's been so darn restless.

It can take a few days to lay after seeing the eggs in her stomach. I have never heard the weezing noise before though. If she doesn't lay by Sunday I would try giving her a warm water soak, it may help her to lay the eggs.

Has she pooped in the past couple days?

She hasn't had any food since Tuesday the 22nd I drop the mealies in there, she comes out and nips them but never truly eats them, I left some in her cage but she didn't eat those either.

She has pooped I cleaned her papertowels last night, she is active all around the tank at night, she digs at everything.

I can see eggs but after looking at pics of fully formed eggs I think she may not be ready, but just preparing herself?

I called the breeder once again Thursday night and he said she wasn't a big eater and he had her over a year since she was a baby, he said I shouldn't worry about the not eating that it was typical for females about to lay? but it's been almost a week so yeah I'm starting to get a little worried.

It is normal for females to stop eating before they lay their eggs. Don't worry. She will most likely eat like a pig after she lays. Hopefully she will lay them soon so you can stop worring. I know the feeling. lol I worry about my geckos all the time.

Well she had 1 mealworm today, and I left 3 more in her bowl for later, she hasn't been laying in her hide alot lately. Just lays beside it, I'm just going to leave her alone and let nature take it's course!

I didn't know it was going to be this nerve racking, and I'm sure I may be making things worse than they are, but I just cannot help it! lol I dunno if this breeding is for me.

Yeah that's what my dad said tonight, lol he was asking questions about when she was going to lay and such, then he said if you are acting like this now how in the hell are you going to be waiting for them hatch?

I just laughed and then thought omg....lol
