Acrylic paint?

So the GF has been working on a back wall for are newest gecko to climb around on. The final coat to seal it all is going to be a acrylic paint. Has anyone else done this to a custom cage design to seal it? Making it easy to clean and water resistant.

I've only ever used non-toxic grout sealers. They hold up pretty well to water and time. Careful with that acrylic paint. It's gonna have some nasty fumes, so give the wall LOTS of time to air out if that is what you end up doing.
