They look really nice. let us know how everything works out w/ tile. I think that would look nice as a display tank. Also what kind of tile did you decide to go with?
It's cermaic tile I got from home depot, they don't cut there so I had to go to lowes to get it cut PAIN in the arse. I will be buying from lowes from now on.
The current temp in the first one on the ground is 89, and the other is 90 that is exactly what they were before I went to bed last night. The moist hides are what you see I use paper towels for misting and I'm using uth's in all 5 of my tanks I had bought a big metal rack to put all 5 of my tanks on but it was just WAY to big for my room lol so I went back to the tank stands for now. These 2 tanks don't have cold hides because those gecko's don't use them I've added them several times and they don't go near them, and yes they are 10 gallon tanks.
I just did the same thing to my beardie tank today. but the 45 gallon tank is a little big and missed a small cut off. so i filled the little bit with calcium sand.
It looks great, very realistic. Its like a marble sandy lookin tile. i like it.
ive still got a bunch of tile left vicky. and id be more than willing to send you some. but it would probably be alot easier for you to run to home depot and get what you like. :-D
Haha Nathan it would cost me more in shipping than in actually buying the tile. That's a project for the fiance. I don't mind the paper towels that I use, but he says the geckos can tell and he told me that they told him that they don't like PT and they want something more realistic. He's a little weird I know.
