Adhesive on ReptiTherm UTH melting off?

I've always bought these heating pads and never had any issues. I've got the super giant one for my 40 breeder, the medium one for my 20 long, and a small for my 10 gallon (also has several other small ones over the years, but have gotten rid of the tanks they were attached to).

The big and the small ones have been great, but the medium is a bushel of problems. The adhesive is literally melting off from the heat. The tank used to be on an opened top stand, and I though putting that stand away and putting the tank on a regular stand would help it. Nope. Still just as bad! I have to constantly re-stick the stupid thing, which is harder now on the new stand >.<

I'm going to contact ZooMed and see what they have to say, since this thing is only like 6 months old. Has anyone else had issues like this, though?

I won't use any UTH's like that....with adhesive on them that permanently stick to the tank. I use the ultratherm UTH's and I buy them from Reptile Basics. I never had luck with the ones with adhesive.

They've always worked great for me (but I understand that as production rates increase, stuff happens). Emails take 2-3 days to be responded to, so we'll see what they have to say in a couple days...
