Well, I just sold my first gecko! I have now breed, hatch, raised, and sold a gecko...so I suppose I can start considering myself a (super small time) breeder now! LOL I'm happy because it's an accomplishment in a way, and Eric will be happy to see a bit of money come IN instead of pour out for once. At the same time, I'm a bit sad to see him go. Here's the last photo of him....adios little guy!
I've officially decided to keep my first hatchling, so now I need a name for him....ah ha! He's been #001 up until now, so I'll just start calling him Neo. :main_thumbsup: I don't know that he'll ever get that tang I'm hoping for, but he is nice and lemon yellow like his momma. He's doing great...just over a month old and 17g. :main_thumbsup:
I've got an update on the guy with MBD...it's MBD for sure now. The calcium treatments are helping him a good deal. His arm is firming up and he's not rolling on the hand anymore. However, his jaw is still very squishy, so he's got a long way to go. He's eating better now, and gaining weight at a rate I'm much more comfortable with. He's almost doubled his weight in the last 2 weeks...going from a 0.5g per week gain to a 2 - 3g gain per week. He'll be staying with me because of his metabolic problems. At least here, I know he'll be doing the best he can. He needs a name too, but I'll have to think on it for awhile.
