I know this isn't the *best* place for this, considering this is a gecko forum; but frankly, I am not a member of any cat forums and don't know where to go. I have posted an ad on Craigslist, put up flyers everywhere, called shelters, clinics, etc. We're doing everything we can to find these cats some homes, but the shelter is too full and so they will have to be put down if noone will take them.

I am sure there are ways to ship a cat.. so I wouldn't mind looking into options if someone was interested and just lives too far to pick them up. Also note that we can drive to you, up to 120 miles away from 95242.

We have two adult cats that are in need of loving homes because we're moving and our new place will not allow them.

Both are females and have been spayed but not declawed.

One is a 5 year old black tabby cat. She is very sweet and loving, likes to sit on laps and play with cat-toy-balls (she will jump in the air to catch them if you flick them at her). We've had her ever since she was a kitten.

The other is a 6 year old Calico cat. We've had her for 4 years now, and she came to us from a broken home where she was severely mistreated. She is a very loving girl and fortunately doesn't seem to be negatively affected from any mistreatment she may have had when she was younger. She does, however, get very sensitive about letting others touch her stomach, so it's best not to unless she lets you.

Both cats love attention and will make great, loving pets to anyone in need. Just send us an e-mail if you're interested and we'll go from there. Both free to a good home.

I would prefer that they be indoor cats however an indoor/outdoor life would be okay as well. They do not have to both go to the same home, I understand taking on two adult cats can be a bit much.

Please contact us if you are interested or know anyone that might be. If these cats can't find homes, they might have to be put down because they have nowhere to go (even the shelters are too full to take them). My e-mail is [email protected].

Thanks.
