Adult gecko not eating, round 'something' in stomach?

I adopted an adult, female gecko about 2 months ago. I picked her because aside from some missing toe tips from bad sheds, she was plump and very healthy looking.

Tank stats: 10 gallon (need to upgrade), 92 basking spot, 70 cool side. Two hides, 1 moist hide/laybox. Food offered twice a week. Kept on paper towels.

She had eating problems from the start, not being very interested in the crickets I offered. Silkworms and roaches were also a bust. Then I offered mealworms and she loved them. Buuut only for a few weeks. Now she ignores even those.

I've ordered butterworms, wax worms and superworms to try so we'll see if those are more to her taste.

She's not terribly lethargic- maybe a little less active than my other geckos but she's bright eyed and alert. She often tries to climb out of her tank.

I've taken her to the vet. All he found was a tiny, sand-grain sized abscess in her mouth that he said shouldn't be bad enough to cause her to not eat. More curiously, he felt a round, smooth 'something' in her abdomen. I say 'something' because the vet isn't sure what it is. Whatever it is, light shines through it.

I don't know if her former owner kept her with males, but I guess it's possible it's an egg? I've given her a lay box filled with moist vermiculite just in case, but no results yet.

She's not impacted- I fed her some chicken baby food with vitamins and calcium added and she LOVED it (didn't even have to forcefeed, she just chowed down on her own) because I needed to get a stool sample, and she did poop after a day or so, though it was sorta loose. I'm currently waiting on results from the vet to see if she has parasites.

She was 72 grams when I got her, but has dropped to 64. She was pretty fat and is still in good condition so I'm not TOO worried yet, but I want to figure out and solve the problem soon.

I guess for now you'll have to wait for the results from the Vet. It could be an egg. Hopefully she's not eggbound. It's a good sign she is still eating though. Let us know what the results are.
