I am trying to find a good, loving home for my cat "Blue". He is about 6 1/2 years old. He is a Maine Coon cat, so he weighs nearly 20 lbs. Blue had long black hair with wisps of gray and a white patch on his chest. He has been neutered and declawed (indoor kitty only). He is very loving and affectionate, but he is not to keen on being held.
I have a 7 yr old Maltese that is very needy attention wise, and since he has allergies, I'm also having to spend a lot of time taking him to the vet. I can't offer Blue the attention he deserves. He has become very matted, and so I'm going to have him shaved down very soon. His hair does grow back fast, and I know if someone had the time to groom him, he wouldn't require shaving anymore. I'd like to find him a home in he North Georgia area, or Eastern South Carolina. I will drive to meet someone as far as Atlanta or Greenville if anyone is interested. This is a very hard decision for me, but I know it's best for him.
This is a picture of Blue from a few years ago when his hair was about at half length. He has gotten bigger, so I will try to take a newer pic of him tonight, although he is matted right now.
