First I would like to introduce myself. My name is Dale and I have made previous posts here before and may have rubbed people the wrong way, and I will freely admit my faults/failures. I have worked at the University if TN's Ecology and Evolutionary Biology/Herpetology facility for about a year now and i have bred leopard geckos for about a decade......and yes, that would mean I would have started when I was about 11 years old (I'm aware).
However, I recall being mocked or being made fun of when I claimed that I was working on something potentially "big" with some of the top names in the business. And then when people asked what it was I could not reply with details due to obligations I had agreed to uphold as far as secrecy goes, and because I could not reveal these details people jeered at me all the more (I admit I might have done the same giving the circumstances).
Well, I guess now most of the details are out in the open. I just wanted to say how bad people made me feel when i first came to the forums here and I wanted to try to leave advice concerning some leniency on what other people claim...despite maybe some obvious obligations they say they are subject to withhold.
THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK! I am just hoping to leave some advice for dealing with future "nutjobs" like myself.
