So i went out and got some rubbermaid bins for putting my perlite and eggs in....but I see others on here seem to use the small (1/2#) deli containers...is one or the other better???

And also is there a best place in the hova-vator to put these..along the sides...in the middle??? I only have one breeding female so I won't have a ton of containers in my incubator!

I included a pic of the containers I got!

Looks good to me. I use the same thing. Righ now I just have one in my incubator and I have it under one of the windows so that I can look at the eggs when I want. Best of Luck

Another quick question...doing my research on methods to moisten perilite Im seeing different ways to do it. Is the albey method the most effective for this type of incubator and container system?

I used perlite 1:1 water by weight for the last 2 years. but Ive been trying out turface All Game for the past few months and it seems to work well, its like super hatch same basic stuff calcined clay. I use 5 cup containers which I put 16 eggs into each one and best of all you dont have to weigh out anything.

I had the same setup as you last season but I used hatchrite(just because im scared to have to add the water myself.. Id hate to mess something up and lose my eggs because I only have one breeding female at the moment as well) and it worked out great for me. Im looking into different incubators but may use the same setup this year as well lol. I have the save exact containers too

those are fine I have used them with success but this year I think I will be using the G.E.O's from thegeckogut.com http://yourgeckoguy.com/?page=geo these look just amazing

I'm trying out these GEO systems this year with Superhatch. Last season toward the end I switched to superhatch to try it out. 100% success on the fertiles, 1 was unfertile. Pre-punched deli cups were used. Some folks don't use ventilated cups, its what I had on hand.
